Hope at the Border: World Relief’s Local Response

7/25/2025

Immigration needs in Orange County are becoming increasingly urgent. After a recent federal ruling on July 2 affirmed the right to seek asylum—even for those crossing between official ports of entry—we may see a significant rise in arrivals at the U.S.-Mexico border in the coming weeks. In response, World Relief SoCal is actively preparing to meet this growing need in partnership with local churches—offering legal support, meeting urgent humanitarian needs with compassion, and advocating for just and lasting solutions. The World Relief office in Garden Grove is a key resource for anyone in Orange County seeking immigration assistance. We encourage those in need to visit the Garden Grove office, and invite those who want to help to scroll down to our “Get Involved” section to find ways to support this critical work.
